EDF and Graffart Association in collaborative project to promote graffiti and creativity

A new collaborative initiative, focusing on promoting creativity and 'Energy in my city and in my region' has been launched in France. Energy giant EDF and Graffart Association, both partners on that project, are planning to use it as a platform of promoting cultural development, discovering new talents from the French graffiti scene and asserting graffiti as art itself.

A Graffiti Prize 2014 competition will be also initiated, the winners of which, will have their work shown within exhibitions in Paris.
Graffiti has been used by corporations as an advertising tool but in the case of EDF and Graffart collaboration, it seems like its assertion and promotion as a creative activity is more of an indicator of cultural development.
