Phase 2: xyzQin
Before going onto the 3d printing of a full scale xyzQin, I will first test print a small version.
The test qin will be called "xyzQin mini"
This is because of the printer size thats available to me.

梓音琴韻
多年來在北市國辦理了多場古琴音樂會,以及但任千禧年台北古琴藝術節製作及執行人,忒將個人所寫琴論淺見以及所藏有關該古琴藝術節圖片等資料供琴友參考指證琴韻

琴器概說
古琴是現代對“琴“的稱謂1。琴的結構(附圖一)分為面板及底板,面板多為傳音快的木材如桐、杉、松、楊之類,底板則多用較硬的梓木,以求較佳的反響。不少斲琴師傅喜用清代祝桐君所言尺度「絃長三尺六寸六分,岳山到起項八分....龍池在四徽..鳳沼在十一徽」,成為現代斲琴標準制式之一2。由於歷代斲琴所用尺度、喜好皆不相同,因此呈現出來的琴器各有巧妙,即使式樣相同,各朝各代或圓或扁差別很大,遑論宮(廷)斲,與野(民間)斲之分。就以此次琴展百床琴來說,唐宋琴通長約在120-130公分之間,明清琴則長度更有彈性短者約113公分(無名子期),長者135公分(無名仲尼),更有更短便於攜帶的膝琴約91公分。面板的厚薄,必須按規格製成弧形面,內部剖成或凹或凸的槽腹稱為納音,有長、圓形、甚至鑲上的不同材質的納音,更或是加上雙納音,目的皆為要求增強留音效果,藉以凸顯古琴特有的餘韻。
此次展琴以測量三徽的厚度為準,約在4至7.5公分間,肩寬約在18-23公
分左右,展出形制多達十六種,其中約十種較為常見。卻也有德音堂琴譜所列六十種所無的“此君式“(竹節式)。一般稱唐琴圓厚,宋琴扁薄,元琴之後琴人喜好
仿古,因此多為仿唐、仿宋之作,在琴器形製上常能亂。,因此鑑定工作至為困難,此次北琴來展古琴三十床,經北京故宮鄭民中鑑定其中「枯木龍吟」為晚唐琴,
「鳴鳳」為南宋琴,其他二十八床中疑似宋或更早之琴,如其中的“黑輕雷“疑似五代琴等,為求慎重,一概訂為明琴。
